Trippy

If I close my eyes while listening to this I feel that I'm either in the deafeningly loud silence of space, or nearing an underwater lava tube. Strange fish approach my face with glowing organs in bizarre places. Somewhere overhead, far overhead, a plane flies or perhaps a bomb lands.. Vibrations surge through the water, and then the calm before the storm.

The bubbles of the lava tube surround me while fish flee the violent eruptions. Somewhere in the background I hear music. Is that my heart, or an angel taking me away from this violence?

The destruction continues, like oil spilling from a damaged well, and then all is silent except for the angel. I don't think I lived through this... I can see the earth below.. enormous wings carry me upwards, to where I don't know and will probably never be able to explain. Bye stars. Bye vision. Bye life...

Lol I did what I used to do when listening to your music, I closed my eyes, had the volume up, and sat in the dark. Then I read your comment explaining that I should use headphones, turn the lights off, and close my eyes.

*highfive* I love your music and am glad I reconnected with you.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

*highhh fivveee!* Turning off the lights and listening to music in the dark is the way to go. It literally is like a drug and makes you naturally high. ;)

Thanks for the imagery thoughts man. Its nice to see someone doing it for me for once.

Shivers.

I read the story out loud at barely above a whisper, more of a murmur. The sound of my soft gravely voice pieced with the passionate beauty that you've provided made for a story that gave me shivers.

You've come a long way, my friend, keep up the good work.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Haha, thanks man. I have really focused on the imagery / symbolism inside of my tunes in the past few months. I am writing some experimental things right now that don't have any actual rhythm, unlike this song, but fully focus on imagery and fantasy. Once I have a clear understanding of creating that sort of music, I will expand on it and create another ambient song that is like this, but a lot more complex. Glad to see you back on NG.

Demon Waltz

I see skeletons waltzing to this song. In a demonic ballroom, Satan's at the turntables, one ear covered with a headphone while he keeps the background kick going, then switches over to the keyboard at the end.

Ghost Organ was a good name for the song.
did you write the song, then think up the name, or how did that work?

Zombies was a great name!

I could see them turning the corner from around the backside of a black building with cars on fire and they're searching. Then they spot you at like 52 seconds and it's like "Oh shit!" then there's this very background sound that sounds like mario getting a powerup and it's just like *blauw!* Shotgun!

Anyway, I could see zombies, that's good :)

I liked it better than Bunny :)

It still had somewhat of a videogame feel to it, but it seems like a more RPG video game. I could smoke a bowl to this song :) Too bad it's so short...

I did enjoy it though! I like the midway at like 40 seconds or so, very melodic.

Good!

I liked the video-game sound to it. I could see an 8-bit me chasing a bunny around.
Very visual with the sounds, good job!

onibabanana responds:

yay thank you !

If I was jupiter

I'd totally revolve around the sun to this music.

:)

Rideo responds:

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

The review you requested :)

Toward The Sun was a good title for this song. I can see the muiltiple places where people, or maybe just objects could be moving towards the sun. A man on a hiking trip through some dense forest, he rounds the mountain top and the sun warms his dispirited heart, bringing hope. A fish at the bottom of the ocean catches a stray beam that's made it past enemy lines and amazed by it's beauty. A comet, making it's once-in-a-millenium voyage finally getting the warm(really warm) sun blasting it's outer shell into space, only to have to leave it once again..

I could go on :)

Good song.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

HEY LOOK WHOS BACK!

I havent seen you on Ng in a long time. I barely remember even asking you to review this. Glad you liked it and could see some things from it!

Hahaha!

Did you do ALL these voices? I wish I had a mic(I might do something similarly), but hellz yes..you have a perfect movie without the movie. I don't need a crappy piece of flash in front of me to show me what's going on..I can imagine what's going on well enough!

I don't know how that concept would go over on Newgrounds, but not seeing the characters made it better. I could picture these super fatty mcfatfats running around without seeing these poorly drawn flash circles with heads on them :P

I <3 when they almost broke into song and dance and he's like "None of that!"
No lard in 5 minutes! The tragedy! GIVE ME MY WHOPPER!(from the commercial rofl)

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Yeah LOL. I am glad you really liked this. I think it is better without anybody seeing it too. =P ANd you DO know that there are 4 main charecters? the 2 narrerators (Nick and Kyle) and FattyMcpatty and LardyLarLar. At the beginning of the episodes, nick always says, the adventures of FattyMcpatty and LardyLarLar in song. LOL.

Hope you like my next episodes!

And I have a freind do the squeky sounding voice.

Heyas!

I heard this song in the GWC Sprite Flash 4 and wanted to come over here and make sure you got a 5 for it! I just liked the overall sound of it. Good job, and thanks for helping GWC!
