Bug

I got to 2329 feet and lost two lives, then the game stopped.

I had fun playing the first 2k feet though :) It was a bit simple...perhaps monkey upgrades would be cool. Or more trees.

I liked that you had different weapons...

...but I think the damage system needs some work.

First off, when I hit him with a bomb it did nothing for two rounds, then did one, then did 20? I don't understand how the damroll is setup..

Second, taking a pee on him took me down to 2 hp. Peeing doesn't do 98% damage to the person taking a leak..I don't get it.

I did like the variety of weapons you provided, even if they did basically nothing. Btw, 6 times through and I didn't win once. This is probably not a game I'll replay unless there's some fixes done to that damage. Nobody wants to lose over and over..

I'd love to give you 10 but..

I felt like you missed out on some critical points that I look for in a game.

First, there was no pause button midrun, if there was I'm sorry I missed it.

Second, I feel if you had added an option for how many days you'd like to play for it would have been a more fun game. The first time through I had the worst luck in the world, the second time through I had the best luck, then I figured the "luck" I'm referencing was my skill in the game. So, I played through a third time and lost worse than the first time. There's a lot of luck involved in this game, an "Endless" feature would have been nice.

A suggestion for how to work that: When the person comes to the end of the game say something like "You lose. But do you want to continue for the fun of it?" I would say yes to that. It feels like the end of Hedgehog Launch where you finally get the maxed launcher with all the upgrades and because the hedgehog is so decked out a player will win on accident...then that's the end of it. A sandbox mode would have been very appreciated as well, one where you can buy all the upgrades, test them out, and play for no credit. I don't care about my points, I care about enjoying the game.

Sure, my opinion isn't that of everyone, but I think a few other people here would have enjoyed my suggestions as well.

The ease of learning the game.

I played it 3 times, I certainly don't think this game sucks or blows or anything like that! I intend to play it again someday when I'm rackin' my brain for a game to play. I don't know how hard it is to add in those changes now that the game has been submitted but I think the additions would bring more points.

[3rd World Farmer]

61 years of work for 150k

I had sooo much fun playing this game. I remembered playing it when it first came out but could never find it again. When I finally stumbled across it I was soooo happy :)

I spent my first 50 on peanuts, made 123, continued the process to plows, then bought some chickens. After that I went straight for elephants :D I had an elephant farm at the end that was raking in over 10k in just elephants. Who needs to plant when you have elephants running around?

I did abuse a bug to get this. A well is required to buy elephants, but not required to keep elephants. So, just build a barn on every square possible and you'll be making 200% or something on all 8 elephants :)

Also, I didn't notice my first few times playing through but you can have multiple harvesters that will give you 400% to your crop yield, that was good.

I bought all the upgrades except the road until the last turn. That representitive can save your ass :D That clinic can save your ass :D The school got my guy up to 113% productivity.

Also, some of my characters got old so I sold them to the city and brought in new people to make babies, had a family of 8 bringing in between 8 and 15k a year in mostly plants. Life was good when civil war wasn't breaking out, or the national bank was crashing, or disease was spreading, or guerilla warriors raiding my house, or the poachers who shot my elephants, or the poachers who shot my elephants again and again and again... *shudder*

You made a good game. i loved playing it. I hope hearing me rant about it gives you some pointers into what I enjoyed and what I didn't enjoy :D

Pros:
Sim-like atmosphere where your decisions effect your future.
Upgrades, who doesn't like upgrades?
The easy point-and-click environment.

Cons:
Poachers killed my elephants a lot :( I had it comin though, that's why its called 3rd world farm, not farmville :P
Damn banks..
Damn guerilla terrorists.

But I understand those cons had to be in the game to give it "con"flict, otherwise its just a bunch of dirty people playing in the dirt. :D 5'd, fav'd, loved :D

Icing on the cake

After the triple layer adventure I had, this was the icing on top. It reminded me of where we started and how far we've come..

I want to see Patrick do more than say "Trollforce" sometime, sneak it in the background :D Maybe some irrelivant side-quest..

Great series, don't stop making them :D

The cliffhanger at the end really had me excited.

I thought the blue spot that was an entrance to the club was an ocean so I didn't try it for the longest time, but that's my bad :) Good game!

Very pretty and very relaxing. I have never enjoyed puzzles like this but this time I did! Thanks for making a fun game, I like that you can move rows!
